Mapping

This project is collecting many hundreds of fauna records, all of which will be submitted to the State’s biodiversity atlas, managed by the Dept. of Sustainability & Environment.

However, in the short-term, we will map interesting/useful records on a community mapping website called Spatial Vision. Spatial Vision has developed this ‘crowd sourcing’ website in collaboration with the Normal Wettenhall Foundation, to allow the community to share biodiversity information. Anyone can use the site to browse the information. To upload your own information you can become a registered user.

You can visit the site and navigate just as you would in Google Maps. Click on the map symbols to see what they contain, and see what they link to.
